3D Zodiac animation

Note: unlike other AstroApp modules, all the 3D animation sections require Java to be installed on your computer.
Go to http://java.com/ and click the Free Java Download button. Then follow java installation instructions.


To view 3D Animation of the Ecliptic in different locations on Earth, expand the Utilities menu and select the  3D Zodiac Animation option.
To view 3D Animation of the Sun traveling through Zodiac signs, select the Utilities/3D Sun Animation menu option.

The animation windows have the following controls:

• Month - this is the starting month for animation.
• Time Freeze/Unfreeze - this button allows you to stop and resume animation.
• Speed control - clicking the "+" button will increase animation speed, '-' button will decrease it.
• The Map control is only available for the 3D Zodiac Animation. Clicking anywhere on the map will change the observer's location.
