Custom Objects Sets


You can use the Custom Object sets to add predefined set of objects (such as Asteroids) to your charts.

Creating Object Sets


To create the Custom Object Set:
  1. Go to the Settings menu and select the Object Sets... menu option.
  2. Click the Add New button.
  3. Enter the Object Set name and hit enter.
  4. Note: if you want the objects in the current set to appear in charts by default, click the Include Planets checkbox / table cell. When it's set to Yes (checked), all the objects in the Set will always be added to all newly created or updated charts. For existing charts, they will be added after hitting the Redraw button.


Adding Objects to Sets


To add an Asteroid or a Planetoid to an already created Object Set, follow these steps:
  1. Open your base chart
  2. Select the Lists -> Asteroids Search... menu option.
  3. Click the green Plus icon and enter the asteroid name (partial names can also be used to search for matching asteroids or planetoids).
  4. Click the Search button.
  5. In the Asteroids search results screen, select the required asteroid and click the Add Object to Set button.
  6. In the Custom Object Sets window, select the Object Set and click the Add button.
The object will be added to the selected Set.


Customizing Objects Appearance

  1. Go to the Settings menu and select the Object Sets... menu option.
  2. Select the Object Set where the object had previously been added. All objects included in the set will be listed in the Objects table on the right.
  3. Double-click on the object you would like to customize.
  4. You can update any of the following:
    1. Object Name
    2. Orb - orb to be used in all aspects calculations
    3. Symbol - symbol to be shown in charts and tables unless the Icon is also selected.
    4. Color - this is the color of the object. You can use the Color Picker to select and customize the color to be used for this object.Note: entered colors will appear as HTML color codes. Clicking on the row will cause a small square icon to appear indicating the current color of the object
    5. Icon - this is the icon of the object. Note: if the icon is left blank then the Symbol will be used for this object in all charts and tables. However, if the Icon is selected, then this icon will be used instead.
  5. Once done editing, hit the Enter.

Deletion

To delete the entire set and all the objects in it, select the required Object Set in the left table and click the Delete button.
To delete an individual object from the Objects Set, click on the red Minus button in the right table (each row will have its own deletion button).
