Exporting Settings


Use the Settings/Export Settings menu To Export your current settings into a file. By default the file will be saved as astroapp_settings.txt
This file can later be sent to other AstroApp users for them to import your settings.

Note 1: default location, planets, and aspects settings and also user-defined arabic parts will not be exported.


Importing Settings

  1. Select the Settings/Import Settings... menu.
  2. Click the Browse button and find the astroapp_settings.txt file that contains AstroApp settings.
  3. Click the Import button.
  The Settings will be imported into the application. You must Log off (Chart/Log Off menu) and Log back in for the newly imported settings to take effect.

  Note 2: default location, planets, and aspects settings and also user-defined Arabic parts cannot be imported.
   
Note 3: the Privacy settings cannot be imported or exported. You should always consider your privacy settings carefully and always ensure you configure them on your own.
