Mundane Astrology: World Instability Index

World Mood, Instability, Protests and Conflicts

The graph presents the World instability index. The index is based on news reporting, NLP, face recognition and other ML algorithms designed to sense the current mood of the World (or of the regions of the World).

1. Navigate to the Traditions/Mundane/Instability Index menu.
2. Select the Country.
3. Select the Type of chart:
1. Instability (default)
2. Conflict
3. Protests
4. Tone (positive vs negative)
4. Select the Level of granularity. The default value is Country. You can select the Region level to drill down further. The Region is generally a state (such as California in the USA) or a major administrative region (such as Provinces in Canada).
5. Click the Refresh button.

The graph will come up. It will cover the last 6 months of data.
Spikes indicate increase in instability, in number of conflicts or number of protests across the selected countries and regions.
Tone indicate the overall tone of news (negative, neutral or positive) during the last 6 months.

• Hover your mouse of the graph to get details about individual dates and regions.
• To export the graph as an image, click on the accordion icon at the top right corner of the screen and select one of the following options: PNG, JPEG, SVG vector image.
• To export the chart to PDF, click on the accordion icon at the top right corner of the screen and select the PDF document option.
• To print the chart, click on the accordion icon at the top right corner and select the Print menu option.
