Portfolios


To manage your Portfolios, select the Finance/Portfolio menu.

Working with Portfolios

Follow these steps to create a new Portfolio:
  1. Go to the Finance/Portfolio menu.
  2. In the Portfolio window, click the Add New button.
  3. In the Portfolio table (table on the left) enter Portfolio name and Description (optional) and hit Enter or click anywhere outside the current row.

To View charts in a Portfolio, click on that Portfolio. The list of companies and related horoscopes will be shown in the Companies/Charts table on the right.
To Open charts of the companies in the Portfolio, select a chart (in the right panel of the Portfolios window) and click the Open button.

Adding Charts

There are several ways to add charts to Portfolios.

First, please make sure you have your Portfolio created.


To add a single company to any existing Portfolio:
  1. Select the Finance/Companies Data... menu.
  2. Search for the companies you wish to add.
  3. Once found, select the company in the Companies table and click the Portfolio button.
  4. In the Portfolio pop-up, select your target Portfolio.
  5. Click the Add button. The "Added" message will appear.

Note: If your Portfolio already contains this company (or companies), the duplicate addition(s) will be silently ignored.


To add a group of companies to the existing Portfolio: 

  1. Select the Finance/Search... menu.
  2. Enter your search criteria and click Search.
  3. In the Search Results table, select the companies you want to add.
  4. Click the Portfolio button.
  5. In the Portfolio pop-up, select your target Portfolio.
  6. Click the Add button. The "Added" message will appear.

Analyzing Portfolio Charts

  1. Go to the Finance/Portfolio menu.
  2. In the Portfolio window, click on the Portfolio you wish to analyze. All the companies in that Portfolio and related charts will be shown in the Companies/Charts table on the right.
  3. Click the Stats button to view Statistics graphs for that Portfolio.
  4. Click the Details button to view the details for all the charts in that Portfolio.
Note: If you don't want certain charts to show up in the Stats or Details screens, simply unselect them and collapse the corresponding company tree.
