Profections

To view the profected dates for the current chart, select the Forecast/Profections... menu. The Profections form will appear.

1. In the Profections form, select Years, Months, Days you want to profect the current chart.
2. Then, select the Profection type:
1. Traditional. This is the default method used from Hellenistic times.
2. Manilius. This method is based on the Sun profection through signs, not houses
3. Egyptian. Technically, this is not a Egyptian method. It was occasionally called as such by 19th century European astrologers such as Sepharial. It's very similar to the Traditional Profections, only the house counts starts from the next house instead of the current one.
3. Click OK.
   

The Profections table will be opened.
