Time Lords: Quarters of the Moon

The Quarters of the Moon is one of the many Hellenistic time lord techniques.

To view the Quarters of the Moon table of time lords for the current chart, go to the Forecast menu and select the Quarters of the Moon... menu option. The Quarters of the Moon form will appear.

There, you can to select the Releaser (the starting point) which can be a Planet, Prenatal Lunation (most commonly used), the Part of Fortune or the Part of Spirit.
The Year value defines the duration of the year. The most common practice for the Quarters is to use the Tropical year conversion (according to Valens).
After setting all the required calculation parameters, click OK. The Quarters of the Moon table will be shown.

The Quarters of the Moon table contains the following information:

• Start Date: this is the date when the period or sub-period starts.
• Planet: this is the ruling planet of the major period.
• Sub-period: this column lists ruling planets for each of the sub-periods.
