Vedic Transits Table
The
Vedic Transits table contains the following information:
- Planet - this is the planet making the transit
- In Zodiac - zodiacal position of the transit event
- Ingress Type - type of the transit/ingress event (such as Ingress
into Sign, ingress into Nakshatras, ingress into Padas, ingress into
Kakshyas).
- Ingress.
- For Sign ingresses, the column will contain the Sign that the planet is entering
- For Nakshatra transits, the column will show the name of the Nakshatra the planet is entering
- For Pada ingresses, the number of the pada the planet is entered to will be shown
- Finally, for Kakshyas, the Kakshya (Kaksya or Kakṣyā) number will be shown.
- Ruler - this is the ruler of the position of the ingress (this is applicable to Signs and Kakshays only)
- Friendship - this column shows relationships between the
transiting planet and the ruler of the place the planet is transiting
over.
- Exact Date and Time columns show the exact date and time of the transit event.
Additional

- The exact positions of the transits (ingress entry points) can be added to the currently selected chart by clicking the Add to Chart button.
- You can save an event in the current's chart events database by selecting the desired event and clicking the +Event button.
- You can also use the Point Explorer to review details for the exact location of the transit/ingress.
- You can add the Vedic Transit results to AstroScribe by clicking the Append
to AstroScribe button.
- Vedic Transits tables can also be exported to PDF (right mouse
click on the table and select the PDF Export context
menu option).
