Asteroids Search screen

Search for Asteroids

To open the Asteroids search screen, go to the Lists/Asteroids Search menu. The Asteroids Search window will appear.
To search for Asteroids, enter either the name of the asteroid or the ID if you know it. Please note that you can enter partial names of asteroids, in that case all asteroids that match the search string will be calculated. For example, the search for 'Chi' will return all asteroids that start with 'Chi' in their names, such as Chiron, Chiara, Child, Chile, Chiarini, Chinesewilson, Chinmoy, Chiny, etc.
Click the OK button. The Asteroids table will be shown.

Asteroid-Centered Charts

In order to create the Asteroid-Centered Chart please follow these steps:

1. Select the Lists/Asteroids Search menu. The Asteroids Search window will come up.
2. Enter Asteroid name (as described above) and click the OK button.
3. In the Asteroid Search Results table, select the Asteroid and click on the Asteroid-Centered button. The Asteroid-Centered chart for the selected Asteroid location will be shown in the main window.

Asteroid-based Zodiac Charts

Asteroid-based Zodiac charts are similar to Draconic charts. You can use asteroids to define their positions as a starting point of Zodiac (0 Aries point of reference).

To create the Asteroid-Centered Chart please follow these steps:

1. Select the Lists/Asteroids Search menu. The Asteroids Search window will come up.
2. Enter Asteroid name (as described above) and click the OK button.
3. In the Asteroid Search Results table, select the Asteroid and click on the Asteroid-Zodiac button. The Asteroid-based Zodiac chart for the selected Asteroid location will be shown in the main window.
