BiWheels and MultiWheels


You can create BiWheel, and MultiWheels charts using any of the charts calculated in the current session.

BiWheels


To generate a new BiWheel, chart, please follow these steps:
  1. Open a chart or create a new chart. This is your base chart.
  2. Open or create the 2nd chart. You can also use derived charts such as Returns or Progressions.
  3. Select the base chart by either clicking on the list of the Recent Charts or by selecting the corresponding tab in the main pane.
  4. Expand the View menu and select the BiWheel menu option. The table with all charts calculated during your current session will open.
  5. Select the second chart from the table. The BiWheel chart will be shown in the main pane.

MultiWheels


To generate a new MultiWheels chart, follow these steps:
  1. Open a chart or create a new chart. This is your base chart.
  2. Open or generate other charts you want to use in the MultiWheel.
  3. Expand the View menu and select the MultiWheels menu option. You can also use the View/MultiWHeels (B/W)... menu option to generate multi-wheels charts in the black and white format.
    1. [optional] If you double-click now on any of the charts in the top table, AstroApp will generate a biWheel for the base chart and the chart you double-clicked on.
  4. Drag and drop charts from the upper table to the bottom table.
  5. Select the anchoring chart. This is the chart which houses will be used to define axes for all the charts in the MultiWheel. The count starts from the first chart in the bottom table, then the count continues in the order of the charts shown in the that table.
  6. [optional] Sort charts in the bottom table by clicking on the column headers. For instance, to sort by date, click on the Date column header. To reverse the order of sorting, click on the Date column header again.
  7. Click OK.
All the charts up to the 5th in the bottom table will be used to generate the MultiWheels chart.


Vedic Synastry: Ashtakoota

To use the Ashtakoota (Vedic Synastry method), please follow these steps:
  1. Open a chart or create a new chart. This is your base chart.
  2. Open or generate the 2nd chart. Make sure one chart is that of the groom and the other of the bride.
  3. Expand the Traditions/Vedic menu and select the Ashtakoota menu option.
  4. Drag both charts from the top table to the bottom table.
  5. Click the Ashtakoota button.

The Ashtakoota table will come up. The table displays the total compatibility score and also breaks down the total Ashtakoota value into the following individual compatibility categories:


AstroCartography and Synastry

AstroApp provides the ability to draw planetary lines (ACG, Local Space, Geodetic) on a single map for groups of charts.
Steps:
  1. Open or create the charts you want to explore.
  2. Go to the Maps menu and select the Group Maps... menu option.
  3. Select the desired Map Theme (Map Themes can be created using the Maps/Themes Editor... module).
  4. Select the Map Type (Locality/ACG, Local Space, Geodetic or Johndro).
  5. Click the Group Maps... button. The list of charts will appear.
  6. Drag the charts you want to be plotted on the map to the bottom table.
  7. Click the Map for Selected button. The AstroCartography map will appear with objects from all selected charts drawn.


Astro Research

To analyze commonalities and differences of charts in a group:
  1. Open the Research menu and select the  Charts Group Stats... menu option.
  2. Drag currently available charts from the top table to the bottom and click OK.
  3. Select the criteria you want to use to analyze this set of charts and click the Right blue arrow (or simply drag those criteria to the right table).
  4. Click the Analysis button. The table with analysis results will be shown. Values in green signify the most frequent occurrences, values in red - least common ones.
