I Ching Progressions

I Ching Progressions based on the notion that each day after birth corresponds to a specific I Ching hexagram.

Follow these steps to calculate I Ching Progressions:

1. Open a chart or create a new chart. This is your base chart.
2. Use the Oriental/I Ching Progressions... menu to open the I Ching Progressions Form.
3. Select the Start date and click OK.

The I Ching Progressions table will appear. The table contains the following information

• I Ching Hexagram
• Corresponding Date
• Corresponding Julian Date
  

Note: the I Ching sequence for the Progressions method can be configured under the Settings/Settings... menu / Oriental tab. The following I Ching sequences are supported:

1. King Wen
2. Fuxi
3. 8 Palaces
4. Mawangdui

Additional Features____________________________________________

• You can add the I Ching Progressions table  to the AstroScribe by clicking the Append to AstroScribe button.
• The I Ching Progressions table can also be exported to PDF (right mouse click on the table and select the PDF Export context menu option).
