AstroCartography: World Events, Aspects, Midpoints, Sums

Astrological Mapping:

To generate the Astro Locality chart:
  1. Open a chart or create a new chart. This is your base chart. This module will also work with derived charts such as Progressions, Returns, etc.
  2. Select the Maps/Locality... menu. The Map with projected planetary lines will come up. Note: make sure pop-ups are enabled for AstroApp in your browser.
To generate the Geodetic chart:
  1. Open a chart or create a new chart. This is your base chart. This mapping module will also work with derived charts such as Progressions, Returns, etc.
  2. Expand the Maps/Geodetic... menu and select one of the 4 geodetic maps:
    1. Geodetic in longitude
    2. Geodetic in RA
    3. Johndro in Londigute
    4. Johndro in RA
  3. The Map with projected planetary lines will come up. Note: make sure pop-ups are enabled for AstroApp in your browser.

Projecting Aspects, Midpoints and Sums on Astro Locality and Geodetic Map

Make sure you have the Astro Locality or Geodetic Map opened.

Adding Aspects

  1. Expand the Planet list box and check the planets you want to show aspects to.
  2. Expand the Aspects list box and check the aspects you want to show.
  3. Select the type of aspects to show: All, Only Dexter, Only Sinister.
  4. Click the Aspects button. The Aspects will be shown on the Map.

Adding Planetary Sums

  1. Expand the Planet list box and check the planets you want to show midpoints for.
  2. Click the Sums button. The Planetary Sums that your selected planets form with all the other planets will be shown on the Map.
Clicking the Clear button will remove all the previously added aspect lines, midpoints and sum lines.

World Events and ACG Astrolocality

The World Events search functionality allows you to search for dominating world events around the globe. It also allows you to gauge the population mood, based on automatic recognition of the human faces appearing in the news and online.
This module is based on the deep machine learning techniques, such as NLP (natural language processing) and ML face recognition.

There are 3 types of searches that can be conducted:
  1. Text. Search for events based on keywords. For example, select the Text option in the Type drop-down, enter "Biden" in the Event text box and click the Events Search button. All news and publications mentioning Biden will appear on the map according to the location of the publication. So if New York Times recently publised an article on Biden, you will see a corresponding link with an article preview near New York.
  2. Mood. These types of searches are based on the face recognition technology that automatically scans and evaluates general mood of people faces appearing in the news. So if you select the Mood in the Type listbox and then "Very Happy" in the Mood listbox, the search will return locations across the World where peope are currently predominantly happy and smiling. You can differentiate between the following values:
    1. Very Sad
    2. Sad
    3. Somewhat Sad
    4. Neutral
    5. Somewhat Happy
    6. Happy
    7. Very Happy
  3. Tone. Tone searches are based on the NLP (natural language processing) technology. These searches allow you to find news, blogs, etc based on their overall tone and location. The tone can be:
    1. Very Negative
    2. Negative
    3. Neutral
    4. Positive
    5. Very Positive
The Clear button removes results of your previous searches from the AstroCartoGraphy map.

Coronavirus

This feature (hopefully a temporary one) allows you to see details about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic on ACG astrocartography maps and on Geodetic maps (traditional and Johndro maps). The red circles indicate current outbreaks, the size of each circle corresponds to the number of active cases right now.

Earthquakes

This functionality is designed to plot the recent earthquakes on the AstroCartoGraphy and Geodetic astro maps. Each red circle on the map represents a recent earthquake. The radius of each circle is proportional to the magnitdue of the related earthquake on the Richter scale.
