Lana Kirtser was born in Kiev, Ukraine and immigrated to the U.S. in 1979. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. For the past twenty five years, she has worked as an information systems consultant and project manager in Southern California.
Her interest in astrology began 1994 while attending lectures and classes at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. She continued to study astrology with various teachers associated with the Aquarius Workshops. Her first mentors were Gloria Stein and Marion March. In 2011 she completed professional certification with Kepler College of Astrological Arts and Sciences where she is currently an adjunct faculty. As a Sagittarian type with a ninth house Venus/Uranus/North Node and Mercurial Midheaven, Lana is a bookworm who, if she had to choose would rather travel than eat.
Lana has been a professional astrologer since 2002. Her main focus is astrological counseling and natal chart rectification research.
