Synastry and Composite Charts

Relationship astrology for couples, families and groups: composite and comparison charts, synastry aspects, group transits and synastry maps.

With the synastry tools you can compare two or more charts. You can calculate seven types of relationship chart, see the aspects and distances between two charts in a table or on the wheel, view up to five charts in the multiwheel, and any number of charts side by side. You can follow a whole group of charts in a single Transits Calendar or on the AstroCartoGraphy map. As for the Vedic matchmaking, you can use Vedic compatibility tools including Ashtakoota, Cross-chart aspects and Sambandh.

Relationship Charts

For couples, you can calculate seven types of synastry charts. Composite charts can include more than two people:

  • Bi-wheels and multiwheels of up to five charts
  • Derived composite
  • Midpoint composite
  • Davison average chart
  • Davison corrected chart
  • Coalescent chart
  • Generalized Planetary Hours synastry chart

You can use composite or synastry charts just like any other chart, with the chart details tools, forecast tools, the AstroCartography maps, and with the interpretation reports.

Synastry Aspects and Distances

The synastry aspects table lists every aspect between the planets of two charts, along with its orb and the distance between the two points. You can also see the same aspects on a bi-wheel or in a separate synastry wheel. For the Generalized Planetary Hours System, the table shows the aspects and hour distances between the two charts.

Bi-Wheels, Quad-Wheels and Many Wheels

You can show any of your open charts in bi-wheels, a tri-wheel or a quad-wheel, up to five charts in a single wheel. Multiwheels can be anchored to any house of any chart. Multiwheels can also be drawn using traditional Tropical Zodiac, 13 Signs Zodiac, using Arabic Lunar Mansions and Vedic Nakshatras. Many Wheels feature shows any number of charts side by side. For book publishing work, a special black and white multiwheel style is included.

Transits for a Group of Charts

You can create a combined transit calendar for several charts at once and follow a family, a class or a group of clients month by month. The Calendar is interactive: you can move from month to month, add your own events. You can also print-preview and print the Astro Calendar and export it to PDF and HTML.

With a Map Theme Editor you can specify themes or subsets of planets to use and then combine any number of charts on a single AstroCartography, Local Space or Geodetic map. You can learn more about Map Themes in AstroCartoGraphy and Astro Maps.
